Two new resolutions are being introduced Tuesday, one to create a rating system for all district and charter schools, and another to revamp charter authorizing policies. Detailed accounts of these two resolutions can be read here and here.
The Board also votes Tuesday on a list of policies that charters must include in their petitions, five charter renewal petitions recommended for approval and three affiliated charter schools voluntarily converting back to non-charter status. It will also vote on the expansion of PUENTE charter from TK-K up to grade 5.
The superintendent will report on the state of adult education. The entire agenda can be found here.
